The Stanwood-Camano School Board heard an update on the 2024-25 school district budget process during its regular meeting on Tuesday, July 2, 2024.
Ruth Floyd, Executive Director of Business Services, discussed the status of drafting the 2024-25 school district budget. The report is in advance of a public hearing about the budget scheduled for August. Learn more about the district budget on our Finance webpage.
The school board then accepted two donations:

$9,081.06 from the Twin City Elementary PTA to cover transportation costs and the remaining balance for the Twin City Elementary trip to Camp Seymour.

$1,416.99 from the Twin City Elementary PTA to cover transportation costs for school field trips to Andrews Hay Farm, Stanwood Historical Society, Riverside Landes, and Camano Island State Park.
